What is the difference between Lumera and Terra or Venta?
Terra and Venta have louvered roofs — aluminum blades that rotate for shade and close for cover. Lumera is our retractable line: the roof retracts so the space can be left fully open to the sky.
Is Lumera available in standard sizes?
No — Lumera is planned per project. Dimensions, mounting and finish are chosen for your space, which is why it is quoted rather than listed as a fixed kit.
Can it be attached to the house?
Yes. Lumera can be built freestanding or attached to an existing wall or roofline, depending on your layout.
Do I need a permit?
It depends on your city, the size of the structure and how it is anchored. We handle the engineering and the submission where a permit is required.
